The Wyatt MacKenzie Imprint program gives me the benefits of self-publishing, but few of the drawbacks. I dont have to do all those nitty-gritty details of publishing and registering a book; its done for me by a professional who knows what she is doing. I dont have to figure out distribution and fulfillment; its done for me with access to the major book distributors Ingram and Baker & Taylor, plus listing on Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com. I dont have boxes of books sitting in my garage, I order them when I need them, at cost. I dont have to think of all the marketing and promotion ideas, or do them all by myself. I have cross-promotional opportunities with other imprints.
My books look great, because as an imprint I have access to creative, compelling, exciting and professional book layout and cover design. And probably the biggest benefit to the imprint program is that I have access to nearly priceless advice from a knowledgeable publishing expert, Nancy Cleary.
